Standard - Gildan 18000 Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt
The workhorse crewneck. An 8 oz. cotton and polyester fleece with a brushed interior, so it stays soft against you while the outside holds a clean, crisp print. The yarn is spun using MVS Air technology, which reduces pilling and gives us a smoother surface to print on. Classic fit, cut straight through the body, with 1x1 athletic rib at the collar, cuffs and waistband that holds its shape instead of stretching out by February.

50% U.S. cotton, 50% polyester, 20 singles, 8.0 oz. per square yard (271 g/m²). Made with OEKO-TEX certified low-impact dyes and certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100. Available in S through 5XL.

Premium - Cotton Heritage M2480 Unisex Premium Crew Neck Sweatshirt
The upgrade, and you notice it in about five seconds. A heavier 8.5 oz. three-end fleece with a 100% cotton-faced exterior, so the surface you see and touch is all cotton while the blend underneath keeps the whole thing stable and stops it going shapeless. It arrives soft washed rather than board stiff, and the tight knit takes ink unusually well, which is why the more detailed drawings live on this one. Side-seamed, so it follows the shape of an actual body.

Features: Unisex fit. Side-seamed. Tightly knit 3-end fleece with a 100% cotton-faced exterior. Soft washed for an ultra soft hand. Two-needle cover stitched collar and waistband. Twill neck tape. Self-fabric half-moon patch at the back neck. Tear-away label.

65% cotton, 35% polyester with a 100% cotton-faced exterior, 8.5 oz. per square yard (288 g/m²). Available in S through 5XL. Slight shade variation between the body and the ribbing is normal on this style and not a defect.

Measurements are the garment laid flat, in inches. This is a classic fit in 8 oz. heavy blend fleece, cut straight through the body with a little room to layer, so it runs true to size. Size down if you want it closer to the body. Chest Width is measured across the chest, one inch below the armhole; Body Length is from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem; Sleeve Length runs from the center back of the neck, along the shoulder, to the sleeve hem.

This is a side-seamed unisex fit in 8.5 oz. three-end fleece, so it follows the body a little more closely than the Standard crewneck and runs slightly trimmer in the chest at the same size. If you are between sizes, or you own the Standard and want the same feel, size up. Chest Width is measured across the chest, one inch below the armhole; Body Length is from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem.

Return Policy

Because I’m a small business and fulfill orders through an external supplier, I unfortunately can’t accept returns, refunds, or exchanges unless your item arrives damaged, or gets lost in the mail.

That means I can’t offer returns or exchanges for:

Ordering the wrong size
Changing your mind
Items lost or stolen after delivery
Any other reason besides damage

Sizing

We cannot accept exchanges for different sizes. We tried it for a while, but as a small (one-man) business, it just wasn’t sustainable.

Since then, we’ve gone to great lengths to test our current product line to make sure all our shirts are true to size (with one exception, the AS Colour Premium Hoodie runs about ½ size small, as noted on the product page).

We’ve provided size charts on every product page or here. So please consult them carefully, and you should get a shirt that fits perfectly.

Note: Orders made between August 11th and 25th are still eligible for returns and exchanges if they don’t fit correctly.

Damaged items

If your item arrives damaged, we will replace it immediately. To file a claim, please email info@lofianimalshirts.com with:

Your order number
A photo that clearly shows the front artwork and the damaged area
If that’s not possible, please send one photo showing the full shirt laid flat (with artwork visible) and another close-up of the damage

Lost in the mail

If your shipment gets lost in the mail and is not delivered, just email us at info@lofianimalshirts.com to get a replacement shipment.

However, once your order’s tracking number is shown as “delivered” by the shipping company, there are no refunds, replacements or exchanges. We simply cannot be responsible for items once the shipping company has confirmed delivery. In these cases of lost, stolen or misdelivered items, I will provide you the exact tracking info, so you can take up the issue with the shipping company.

Size variation notice

Comfort Colors 1717 tees are garment-dyed, which means they’re dyed after being sewn. This process—along with natural cotton shrinkage—can cause slight size differences. You might see up to ±1 inch of variation in width. That’s normal and won’t affect the quality or fit.

Neck size notice

Some customers have mentioned that the neckline feels snug on the Comfort Colors 1717 tees. Because of dyeing and shrinkage, this can vary slightly by batch. If you prefer a roomier neckline, consider sizing up for comfort.

Premium hoodies

We’ve noticed that the AS Colour 5161 premium hoodie seems to run about ½ to 1 size small. So, we recommend sizing up when you order.

Shipping times

Just a heads-up: both my supplier and shipper have been running a little slow lately. Some orders have taken up to 2 weeks to arrive. Since I stock out of an external warehouse, I can’t control shipping times unfortunately. But if your item is really late and you ask nicely at info@lofianimalshirts.com, I might give you a discount on your next order. Thanks in advance for your patience.

OUR STORY

Idle Doodling That's Helping Cure Cancer

For decades, advertising creative Craig Miller has been drawing doodles of animals in meetings in order to appear to be taking copious notes. Sometimes, he would show his drawings to his co-workers. They always seemed to bring on a chuckle.

So Craig thought, "Hey, why don't I put these doodles on shirts?" So he did. And thus was born Lo-Fi Animal Shirts.

And not to bum everyone out after this cute story, but Craig lost one of his best friends to cancer in the Fall of 2024. And then he lost his father to cancer in April of 2025, not long after he'd put up this website.

So donating to the American Cancer Society seemed like the thing to do. (even though it'd make more sense conceptually to donate to the ASPCA).

And that's the story. Please keep sending in animal suggestions! Craig's hoping to get up to 365 so he can put out a Page-A-Day calendar.
