The Horse Women’s Organic Ribbed Neck Tee is built on the Stanley/Stella SATW002 Stella Muser, and it puts our hand-drawn minimalist horse on 5.3 oz 100% organic combed ring-spun cotton. This is a genuine women’s cut, not a unisex tee: regular fit through the body, noticeably shorter in the length, finished with a 1 × 1 ribbed collar, set-in sleeves, double-needle topstitching at the sleeves and hem, and self-fabric neck tape inside the back. The cotton is certified organic under GOTS and OCS. Perfect for horse lovers, equestrians, and anyone who thinks the animal kingdom needs better fashion representation. Available in Black and White, sizes S through 2XL.

Soft, midweight organic cotton

It's made from 100% organic combed ring-spun cotton in a midweight 180 GSM (5.3 oz) single jersey. Translation: it feels soft and broken-in from the very first wear, drapes beautifully instead of clinging, and is substantial enough that you'll never worry about it being see-through. The cotton is pre-washed, so it holds its shape and length wash after wash.

Built to last

The details are where it earns its keep — a smooth 1x1 ribbed collar that keeps its shape, self-fabric taping across the back neck for a clean finish against your skin, and double-needle stitching at the sleeves and hem so the seams hold up to years of wearing and washing. The tag is a tear-away, so you can remove it in seconds if you're sensitive to labels.

Certified organic, start to finish

Sustainability isn't an afterthought here. The organic cotton is certified under both GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and OCS (Organic Content Standard), which verifies the fiber is genuinely organic and holds the supply chain to real environmental and social standards. The label itself is 100% recycled polyester.

Care is simple: machine wash cold, tumble dry low, and skip the bleach and dry cleaning.

Women's Ribbed Neck Tee - Stanley/Stella Stella Muser - Size Guide

Measurements are the garment laid flat, in inches. This is a medium fit women's cut in soft organic cotton with a ribbed neckline. It runs true to size; size up for a looser, more relaxed drape through the body. Chest Width is the half-chest measured across the garment one inch below the armhole; Body Length is from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem.

Medium-fit women's tee cut for a flattering drape at the waist. Sizes correspond to US 4-6 (S), 8-10 (M), 12-14 (L), 16-18 (XL), 20-22 (2XL). Measurements can vary within about 1 inch, which is within the manufacturer's tolerance.

Return Policy

Because I’m a small business and fulfill orders through an external supplier, I unfortunately can’t accept returns, refunds, or exchanges unless your item arrives damaged, or gets lost in the mail.

That means I can’t offer returns or exchanges for:

  • Ordering the wrong size
  • Changing your mind
  • Items lost or stolen after delivery
  • Any other reason besides damage

Sizing

We cannot accept exchanges for different sizes. We tried it for a while, but as a small (one-man) business, it just wasn’t sustainable.

Since then, we’ve gone to great lengths to test our current product line to make sure all our shirts are true to size (with one exception, the AS Colour Premium Hoodie runs about ½ size small, as noted on the product page).

We’ve provided size charts on every product page or here. So please consult them carefully, and you should get a shirt that fits perfectly.

Note: Orders made between August 11th and 25th are still eligible for returns and exchanges if they don’t fit correctly.

Damaged items

If your item arrives damaged, we will replace it immediately. To file a claim, please email info@lofianimalshirts.com with:

  • Your order number
  • A photo that clearly shows the front artwork and the damaged area
  • If that’s not possible, please send one photo showing the full shirt laid flat (with artwork visible) and another close-up of the damage

Lost in the mail

If your shipment gets lost in the mail and is not delivered, just email us at info@lofianimalshirts.com to get a replacement shipment.

However, once your order’s tracking number is shown as “delivered” by the shipping company, there are no refunds, replacements or exchanges. We simply cannot be responsible for items once the shipping company has confirmed delivery. In these cases of lost, stolen or misdelivered items, I will provide you the exact tracking info, so you can take up the issue with the shipping company.

Size variation notice

Comfort Colors 1717 tees are garment-dyed, which means they’re dyed after being sewn. This process—along with natural cotton shrinkage—can cause slight size differences. You might see up to ±1 inch of variation in width. That’s normal and won’t affect the quality or fit.

Neck size notice

Some customers have mentioned that the neckline feels snug on the Comfort Colors 1717 tees. Because of dyeing and shrinkage, this can vary slightly by batch. If you prefer a roomier neckline, consider sizing up for comfort.

Premium hoodies

We’ve noticed that the AS Colour 5161 premium hoodie seems to run about ½ to 1 size small. So, we recommend sizing up when you order.

Shipping times

Just a heads-up: both my supplier and shipper have been running a little slow lately. Some orders have taken up to 2 weeks to arrive. Since I stock out of an external warehouse, I can’t control shipping times unfortunately. But if your item is really late and you ask nicely at info@lofianimalshirts.com, I might give you a discount on your next order. Thanks in advance for your patience.

wondering which shirt - and which size - to order was the biggest challenge, even with your chart. Perhaps when folks post that they love your shirt(s) - because EVERYONE seems to, ask them about the size they ordered! when reviewing other clothing sites, there's always a spot for the size that was ordered. As for me, i'm 5'5", about 107 lbs, and i ordered a Small, relaxed fit. And it is a good fit! I do love my bunny.

OUR STORY

Idle Doodling That's Helping Cure Cancer

For decades, advertising creative Craig Miller has been drawing doodles of animals in meetings in order to appear to be taking copious notes. Sometimes, he would show his drawings to his co-workers. They always seemed to bring on a chuckle. 

So Craig thought, "Hey, why don't I put these doodles on shirts?"  So he did.  And thus was born Lo-Fi Animal Shirts. 

 

And not to bum everyone out after this cute story, but Craig lost one of his best friends to cancer in the Fall of 2024. And then he lost his father to cancer in April of 2025, not long after he'd put up this website. 

 

So donating to the American Cancer Society seemed like the thing to do. (even though it'd make more sense conceptually to donate to the ASPCA).
