STANDARD | Gildan 18000

The everyday one. 8 oz midweight fleece, 50/50 cotton and polyester, with a 1x1 rib collar, cuffs and waistband. Standard unisex fit, true to size. Sizes S through 5XL. This is the sweatshirt you will actually wear to get the mail.

PREMIUM | District DT6154

Two ounces heavier at 10 oz, 62/38 ring-spun cotton and recycled polyester with a 100% ring-spun cotton face, so the print sits a little softer. Cut with a drop shoulder, which means it hangs off you rather than sitting on you. Side seamed, 2x1 rib collar, cuffs and hem, tear-away label. Sizes XS through 3XL. It runs a touch wider through the chest at S and M, evens out by XL, and about an inch and a half longer in the body.

Both tiers come in Black or White. Both are printed one at a time after you order.

Which one

The Standard is the everyday one. Midweight, straightforward, true to size, and it goes up to 5XL. The Premium is two ounces heavier with a cotton face that takes the print a little softer, and it hangs off the shoulder instead of sitting on it. Wider through the chest at S and M, about the same from XL up, and an inch and a half longer in the body.

Both come in Black and White. Neither one is trying to be a technical garment. It's a sweatshirt with an animal on it... that's the whole pitch.

Measurements are the garment laid flat, in inches. A standard true-to-size unisex fit in 8 oz 50/50 cotton-poly fleece, with a 1x1 rib collar, cuffs and waistband. Body Width is measured across the chest one inch below the armhole; Body Length is from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem.

Manufacturer labels these Chest Width (Laid Flat) and Body Length. Measurements can vary within about 1 inch, which is within the manufacturer's tolerance. This is the only crewneck tier made in 5XL.

Measurements are the garment laid flat, in inches. A heavyweight 10 oz fleece with a 100% ring-spun cotton face, cut with a drop shoulder so the sleeve seam sits lower on the arm for a relaxed drape. It is described as an oversized fit, but the numbers below tell the real story: it runs about 1 to 1¾ inches wider than the Standard at S and M, evens out by XL, and is very slightly narrower at 2XL and up. Bodies run about 1½ inches longer.

How to measure: lay a sweatshirt you already like flat, smooth out the wrinkles, and measure straight across from armpit to armpit. Compare that number to the Body Width row. Measure from the top of the shoulder straight down to the hem for Body Length.
